In Ri s Low's words indeed. Just received 'wtf'worthy news regarding Gi's car keys which saw her through so much heart pain. Year 1s are just, fannoying. Especially if you are 140cm bung... lol. Life should treat you better, though (your height is the start of all evil things to come)
And I woke up at 545 am to my sis's yelling, "U NEVER PICK UP MUMMY."
Holy shit, I ran out of my bed bra-less in my nightie and ran to the car and sped like a mad woman.
Received Mummy and her luggage-less bag. It never came through the baggage belt.
Is this bad luck or what? Really scared that she would be suspicious about the blinking clock which stopped due to my car battery running flat and the suspicious big bag of cables in the backseat that I forgot to clear.
Yeah at approximately 1am on Monday when I went to get my car to prepare myself for a long journey back home from school, I couldn't start my freaking engine. Sigh don't you sometimes imagine your life as a show. Then as you are walking off, the camera pans to the thing that you forgot about like the headlights that are left on, or the umbrella left behind at *$ or the countless things I have left behind or lost through my 21 years of life.
Other than that, I had a shitty Friday. I officially declare that I hate halloween and I will never celebrate it in my life ever again.
Sorry but this post warrants too many profanities. Sigh i need a new place to study though *$ has been treating me well. And Icy Towers is ruining my life.
Oh I suddenly remember why I wanted to blog in the first place since I've switched over to Twitter permanently coz I wanted to end with this.
Im a strong independent woman.
LOL kk to those who understand BYE

I go by the name of CL in 2ne1
Sep. 25th, 2009 | 06:34 pm
This year, I've been well-travelled. Went to Tioman twice, Melbourne, Taipei, Nikoi Island, Malacca, and KL this Sunday. But I'm most excited about my New York exchange this coming Jan! That said, I'm damn sian about having to go back to sch during recess wk to submit my acceptance letter.
If you didn't know, I am currently on Operation Get White. So I can't leave my house without sun block on. I have learnt my lesson. After all those swimming @ 12pm cos pool is at its emptiest, island hopping, diving, sun blast on my skin and still so lazy to lather on my sunblock, I have become a piece of ugly, fat, brown, shit. And currently having very low self-esteem. Plus, my hair which used to be what was probably the only thing going for me, I stupidly went to chop it all off. The current Yunxi is battling with a case of brown skin and bad short hair days. Haha Ok la I'm not as depressedzzzzz as I sound like.
I really enjoyed my diving trip even with all my nosebleeds and unable to descend loser problems at the beginning. My favourite sightings were the turtle (Sarah Rod's idea of a joke: Did it go "Duuuuuuuuuuude!"), cuttlefish (which I didn't know what it was cos it just looks like a big fat pokemon - hey that sounds a little like me, I used to go under the moniker of Snorlax), and Chocolate dipped fish! cos I couldnt identify the millions of fish that zoomed past me. Oh and the giant morrocan eel or smthg like that.
Plan is to get back with G, enjoy recess week, study some, party some, hot yoga with ymm, fun time with PCT, baking with TGF, meet ups @ nus with the hot 5, deciding where to go with the 42POWpeepz and many more.

Update
Aug. 15th, 2009 | 08:07 pm
As some of you, I cut off my (gorgeous) & luscious long locks a few days ago! Haven't had such short hair since sec 4 when I had to cut it before I went for a CIP trip to Chiang Mai. I love it though but sometimes,
I still look at myself in the mirror, and think that I'm wearing a wig.
Anyway, not much of an update. School has started and time to start on those readings! Time to start dressing up my own personal tabernacle as well. Till then, bye! O, remember to check out http://thosegreedyfingers.wordpress.com We've revived the damn blog. Haha
So funny, one of the search terms that someone used to link to the blog was "yunxi baking wordpress".

Back from a blogging hiatus 'cos I update so much more on Twitter! Find me @tulleturkey if u don't already know.
Anyway as the holidays draw to a close, I think I have done quite a lot during this hols. Travelled to a few places, experienced many things, worked a heck load of hours, met many different kinds of people. All in all, I hope that during this period, I was able to make an impact on the people around me, be it being a good friend or being a good service staff to customers. That was also my 21st birthday wish this year - to continue to add value into people's lives and to have a positive impact on them! Also, to have more courage to fulfil what God has put into my heart this year.
Heehee yesterday was my 21st birthday party. Courtesy to Sophie wong and my beloved cg..! Not a party person at all but I really enjoyed myself and even crave for more. I love my cg, and ex-cg and I really experienced your love for me. Check out some of the photos here http://holymoleysonmyface.blogspot.c om/2009/07/animal-planet.html

After the marketing paper, no paper can be quite as hard I think. Which is good, in an absurd way. Oh new inky pens excite me.

It's hard to stay happy at a time like this.
I tried my best
so God, do the rest
On a happier note, I take well?un?-deserved rest in the form of Bejeweled Blitz.
Seen somewhere from facebook, "apparently it is a new course in NTU, with the number of people playing it each day - BJW802" Heehee bye
Exams end in six days WHEEPIEEWHODHDIHAAAAAAAHEE

Hallo hallo. How's the pokeyface?
This week has been really challenging and fulfilling at the same time. From knocking on hostel doors to like finishing projects at high speed levels and dancing in an underpass and driving through Little India with our video camera aimed at their faces plus some major waving.
Happy (belated) 21st birthday Grace and Peychee!
Sorry if I haven't been blogging. It's so much more fun and convenient to 'micro-blog' at Twitter. My 80 updates should prove a point since joining on the Feb 12th. I better be careful not to turn into a Perezhilton or John Mayer Twitter fanatic who updates every 1 minute. Tweets, people!
This is boring, bye!
PS: I find out that I do get pretty eggcited at Manhunt competitions. How not to be? I'm a girl and physically attracted to good looking guys.

Our print ad - quite amateurish, I know, but I like it! Its very cute, and most of all, its the fruit of our hard work! Click on the image itself for a bigger picture and let it bask in its glory. I don't want the end of the week to come 'cos it means what, 2 weeks left to exams? Cue an "OH MY..."
Sigh, life is not e-gee (easy) That's what my Korean teacher always tell us after every lesson. "VERY E-GEEE" (SIGH)

City streets,
Mar. 26th, 2009 | 06:34 am
It's 635am and I barely fell asleep 2 hours ago. And yet, I'm wide awake. I brushed my teeth and drank water. I spoke more than 30 sentences to my mom just a while ago (but with my eyes closed). I went down to the club house to book the function room. I'm back, with my mom's smelly feet just beside me. What I meant to say through all this mindless chatter is, that, I can be motivated when I want to.
I just want to take the car ;)
Recently, I found out that university life is really challenging. (I know, how late right?) I never knew I would be able to do the things I did, but I did! I really think I deserve a medal for that. But I know that beyond projects, assignments, grades, classes... there is a something greater in store for me. Hopefully, all the hard work & going beyond the ordinary & doing it even when we are busy & doing it even when we are doubtful or fearful, ultimately, bears fruits.
Oh well. I don't believe this. I am going to change now. Heading to the bukit panjang area to pick miss chew and miss dhanaraj now. Hopefully I don't get lost! And hopefully, they wake up on time.
By the way, I am taking my braces off next month!
I am having my exams in 3 weeks and I have no idea where to start.

I think this week I'm like "eh don't feel like talking to anyone much leh"

Till then, catch me when you can.
my phone's best function is to keep me busy while caught in awkward situations

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Yozza I'm back and its rainy, dreary, gloomy (nice weather to sleep) but I have 2 lessons to go for. But I like Fridays. Fun lessons, and most of all, get to go out and enjoy the night, go back home to a comfy and big bed to sleep on, and to forget all other school-related work for the weekend. Cell group and church may have become my routine for the weekend for the past four years, but hardly mundane, hardly boring. I have my cousin's wedding this sat. Urgh happy for her but so lazy to think of what to wear (that will please my mom - means anything that is not crumpled, and/or does not make me look fat)
Anyway, don't ever buy your sanitary pads on BYOB Day (Bring Your Own Bag Day) because that's what I did. Heh heh heh ok off to pack my things. Dan Ryans later mau makan mok si mi da

After a surprising, but fulfilling 4 hour nap at 8pm, I diligently started on my assignments. (that sentence alone just does not seem right)
trying to do my Korean homework is like feeling excited about making a date for lunch tomorrow then regret it when you have to wake up the next day though you still want to lie and roll in bed and thinking you should not have made that stupid date.
Anyhow, what I want to say is that. doing Korean at first makes me excited. but after all the confusion and picturesque words in ur face, you just want to give up and stab your prof . (heh) your face is literally ?_? then goes to -_- then goes to >=|
Anyanyhow, I came here cos something cracked me up. I was using Google translation (my twitter reads: excessive use of google translation) howdy, thats true! and i typed something like 찜 질 방 that translated into english, according to Google translation is : HOT AS HELL UP
apparently, it means Korean sauna. Haha so I had a good laugh at 249 am in my lonely hall room ....... because my silly room mate is out somewhere doing something scandalous
and this entry shall end somewhere around here before i run out of things to say. i had a fulfilling night. a good meal at dinner, a 4 hour nap, city news article done, studied one chapter of 208, doing my Korean.
Jesus wept.

Something that cheers up a gloomy 335am of endless flipping through a thick as hell Marketing textbook.
My Wall-to-Wall with Charlene Ng. It's hilarious! I think we can have a stand up comedy one day.
Miss the PCT already. Come back grandmapumpkin! We have to faster bank in on our popularity now that we are hot hot hot in the music synching industry. Later we will become old and tested with age.

Its time to go back to that deadly textbook. The textbook which has no answers.

Timecheck: I have been struggling to finish up my work since 9pm and its already 1230 am and I'm barely done. But I refuse to believe that I cannot do it. I guess the crunch came when pipi (my room mate) told me, "Don't you think its time to wake up?" (both literally and figuratively) I think I'm the kind of person who needs someone to push me, hard. (sometimes its the Holy Spirit, sometimes its people)
I bought coffee just a while ago and I couldn't resist blogging an entry to mark a new point in my life. I think I've been sensing a change. I credit it to the certain prayer I have made every day in the most recent morning prayer meetings. God is good. New things are coming! I'm much more on fire, and falling in love with the Bible all over again.
I hope for everyone who is reading this, but not many I'm sure: Let your life have a purpose. (cheesy, but isn't that what everyone ultimately is looking out for at a certain point in his/her life?) This is probably due to the shock I've received after hearing about the NTU Engineering guy who committed suicide after stabbing his prof just moments after I stepped into school. http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking%2B News/Singapore/Story/STIStory_344879.htm l
Funny note - My friend who's an engineering student in NTU had his MSN nickname: Stop SMSing me.. I didn't do the professor

First day in Malacca :)
Feb. 26th, 2009 | 02:02 am

Substituted a much needed card table with a Red passport, that, and milo nuggets marked out bus journey to Malacca!

First stop: Made reservations at this super famous Teo Chew restaurant. They heard reviews that its a must-go! The oyster mee (pictured) was Mamma mia but the rest was of somewhat normal standard. Or nee was disappointing though especially for us such ornee fans. Right; the cutest ah gong worked there!

Admired the different architecture and designs that the Malacca streets had. Very Haji lane feel - but even better. Ploughed through many vintage shops. Reeeeaaaaalllly vintage - this meant alot of dust and many oldies. <3
This was the first few hours of Malacca. More updates next time. I want to go swimming! Need to work off those cendol and chicken rice balls
